  26. I don't think you _need_ it.
  27. In fact I doubt if anyone has it except for Karl Berry.

  29. If this file exists it may determine where the font just created is stored.
  30. If it doesn't exist the font is stored in the default directory
  31. $TEXMF/fonts/tmp/pk/<mf_mode>
